First Koch Christmas!!!
I'm so happy we are home from Canada and settled in our little house in time for Christmas! Cary and I are excited to start new traditions on our first married Christmas! We recently had all 3 of my siblings over for a night full of Christmas fun! We watched Elf, baked reindeer cookies and made flower pot toy soldiers!!!
The whole gang excited for Christmas crafts!
Supplies for Toy Soldiers:
5 Flower pots ~ We used 10 because we made 2 at once
Acrylic paints ~ There are some official colors of the toy soldiers but we made ours original
Paint brushes
Ribbons and Buttons ~ Different color, style, or texture to make tassels or coat details on the soldier
Yarn ~ We made the top of the hats with yarn but maybe fabric or cotton balls could be used
Popsicle Sticks ~ Used for the arms - Ours were jumbo size to go with proportions of our pots
Reindeer cookies with my little sis!!!
~Pretzels and Peanut Butter M&M's~
Pre-planning and painting
Adorable faces painted by my talented sister
The finished product! A strapping man and cute sophisticated woman guarding presents under our tree day and night! They also have taken over the duties of turning the lights on and off the tree each day! ;)
Christmas ornament to represent our first married Christmas!
My husband and his siblings have a Christmas whistling tradition! Here's the 7th annual edition from Cary and Lindsay!!! Enjoy!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
